Susan Rowland, MFT
Reaching a milestone or long held goal can surprisingly raise issues of feeling lost. The questions of "now what?", "is this it?" can be devastating. Graduation, marriage, a new job or retirement, the first child or empty nest, or a decision long considered and finally made may leave us feeling empty or confused.
Change is the constant element in all our lives which often brings up the buried pain of past wounds. Finding a companion along the way is essential when one is at a crossroad of career, relationship to self, others or God.
I am a contemplative at heart looking daily for spaciousness through silence, solitude and body practices. I believe in the unique purpose of each individual making healing, hope and renewal a vital part of the therapeutic endeavor. I believe that the engagement of body, mind and soul are critical for wholeness.
